A Disciple believes that God is just in all His judgements and ia also the justifier of fallen humanity through Jesus and His victory at the cross
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. Luke 9:23-24
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4 Nichelle picked up this one for me this morning, i thought I will share it -Well needed.
Prayer.
The prayers of a righteous man can accomplish much James 5:16
Before redemption (Salvation) we were under His judgement. Through faith we are made new and declared holy. Second -align to His will, that's our job.
Today we learn from King Jehoshaphat model when he learned the army was coming. 22 Chronicles 20:1-15
This example teach what is required for prayer to be powerful1. He sought God for direction and strength then called for the nation to do likewise2. Dependence on God3. A focus on God's plan.4. Pure motive / God centered intention5. Confidence in God's faithfulness
Remember what you do with your life affects what someone might do with theirs. Smile and never give up!
